  • Spend the extra money and buy the olive which has a production date and an expiration date with correlating numbers to indicate the actual batch that was produced. Cheapest is not always the best!

  • the way you can tell that you have quality olive oil (extra virgin cold press)...take a teaspoon of oil and swish in your mouth then swallow...the oil should leave a light burning sensation in the back of your throat...if it doesnt then its not quality...ty

  • @houndjog Yes. Until i read this article I was cost conscience and bought the cheaper store brands. Now I will only get the reliable brand names with batch numbers and expiration dates.

  • I'm shocked. I ONLY use olive oil for cooking, because of it's health benefits.
