Jennifer Beals In 'In The Soup'

Adolpho Rollo, is a would-be screenwriter who is obsessed with getting his 500-page script "Unconditional Surrender" produced, and winning his dream-girl via a hit movie. His beautiful object is his next-door neighbor Angelica (Played by Jennifer), who's understandably preoccupied with her own life, as an illegal immigrant and single mom.

Adolfo has a giant crush on Angelica, and wants to put her in his film, but his hopes to win her love take a back seat to a shady high-roller who definitely has the self-confidence, and promises the cash Aldolpho craves, to produce the filmmaker's vision.
