That's awesome! It might seem useless to other countries but I personally can't wait for the emoji since I use them a lot when I send mail to my friends in Japan. BTW-- the E in emoji is pronounced like the e (sounds like eh) in elephant. The e is "picture" .. "moji" means character/alphabet (絵文字)

Allot of people i know who have iphones including me all have the same complaint. we want to be able to text in land scape mode.

i agree with you 100% that is the number 1 problem with the iphone is that it doesn't have lanscape texting. Thanks for the comment

its just called MMS, looks the same as your SMS icon but in red.

there is a MMS application in the itunes store for free, and it works quite well.

ive done mine too now! i can now video, forward sms and send and recieve mms! no regrets!

i got tired, and i decided to jailbreak my iphone 3g, and i dont regret doing it. i had a car accident and i was able to record the video of what happen thanks to my jailbreaked phone.
