@Maufanga12 you must have missed an important fact that the christian beliefs are pretty much the same deal, whether your mormon, catholic or whatever it be.. they all believe in Christ. it should not be matter of contending which view is right. because many people will say their church/or their interpretation is true.. and stand by that...now do not contend with Mitts views, and hold your peace.

@johnhale50 They sure claim to be perfect...matter of fact..their always saying "I know that this is the true church"..so in reality their basically saying that all other churches are NOT TRUE...i was a member of the Mormon Corp once upon a time...and i tell you.IVE NEVER SEEN SO MANY FAKE PEOPLE IN MY LIFE UNDER ONE ROOF!!..FAKE SMILE...FAKE LAUGH EVEN WHEN ITS NOT FUNNY...oh and to that remark about nonreligious pagans...they point it out cause Mormon Corp Always claims to be the TRUE CHURCH!

@Maufanga12 Mormons are Christian, because they believe in God, yes, the same God that all Christians believe in, and in a free country..and the constitution of America. We prefer to be called latter-day saints, the term Mormon is just the easy term that defines all what we believe in. We are not those things...and ultimately who would you prefer running this country?..Mitt Romney? one of your own?.or Kim jong un of North Korea?...im sure he'd have much to say about freedom. :P

@whadayamean You missed the boat entirely. "A just law is a man made code that squares with the moral law or the law of God." That's Martin Luther King... Wanna flame him up too? Because he's also putting god in law. M-W defines religion as "a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith." That's the point. Faith. Freedom is built on it. It's why people like Martin Luther King put their life on the line even in the face danger.

@whadayamean you took what he said way out of context
"freedom requires religion"(5:46),then that means if you don't have religion you can't have freedom. That is the kind of logic that scares me the most about religion.
ps
thanks hobobob, you rock
