Labhaaye Sardam Jaan gereft - Indo-Afgan fusion dance by Apsara

my peformance during a lecture about dances in Afghanistan. This song is actually the first Afghan song I've ever heard. What surprised me about Afghan music was very deep connection with Hindustani classical music. Later while studying about Afghan culture and aesthetics I realised that there is a big influence both of Afghan over Indian culure and opposit. My idea was to find a connection in daces of this traditions (which wasn't so easy , as Afghan dance is more 'folk-like' and Indian dance that would match to such music is more ofr classical) but finally I decided t use idea of narrative dance of India and mix it with afghan steps.
