This is my third attempt to make a song in the new Korg DS-10. As Chiptunes are my roots in music, and this machine really has the kind of sound for it, I wanted to make a nice chiptune styled song. Getting the sounds was easy, making it sound good was more challenging. While playing with various settings, I quickly found that adding a swing to it gave it that extra touch. Without, it still sounds nice, but with, its just much better. I made clever use of one drum sound as 3rd layer for the second synth and as sound on its own, which even more adds to the feeling of a chiptune.

  • please make a few how to s i cant figure out Korg

  • There are plenty of those on youtube. It really helps to read the manual that comes with the game. I of course assume you bought the game.

  • this is a product SOO worth buying just to support the makers of the product. I one day want a Korg DS20

  • I'm certainly going to get a Korg DS-10 plus once it comes out! :)

  • are you using one ds for this?

If so I guess I should find a tutorial for this.

  • Yes, just one DS in song mode even!

  • seems fun. where can i get one?

  • .....maybe i bought the game yes i have it but i washed the manual in the washer (not on intentionality) do you know of a site that might have one?

  • You can plug in your standard (only if they have a built-in amplifier, on-off switch, vol, etc... You can even get one of those cables that convert the headphone signal to RCA jacks and plug it into a stereo auxilliary input.

  • I was responding to lolcat23's comment 4 posts up from mine.

    This threading system is dreadful.

  • Why do you download everything though? The same logic applies to all software.
