@schneiderdt In finland just get in a car, go out of the town or on lake ice and start learning / drifting when its winter. At winter u dont even need a rear wheel drive to take long corners sideways so its cheap and easy to learn.. :) About like every smaller town has a icefield (on lake) where u can just go have fun with your car.

depends Colorado or Europe?
its a bit over $ 7000,- in Finland, 5 days all inclusive, and its 6 grand in Colorado.

The instructors were to oversee and correct mistakes. They weren't in the cars.

Winter tires by Nokian. Don't recall the model - can look it up if you want.

Yes - when I was in Finland a year earlier they had new Ford Focuses parked in front of the hotel in the mornings and they were not on sale at that time yet.
