What does Keiji have in his fingers (left hand) at the beginning of the video? Any kind of ropes / strings?

@Antonioluengogil - he tied a string to the guitar strings (at least two of them, if I recall) - that's what he's plucking, instead of the guitar strings themselves. You'll be able to see it quite clearly between about 1:45 and 1:50 when he pulls the string off.
