My little brother is an Houston police officer and sent this to me today. I am so inspired by this young man and by the song (who wrote this great song?) I was also in a car accident many years ago, and nearly died, and was given a second chance. Your strength is a message for me to cherish each day. And it WILL get easier!

We always get updates from the news outlets on the suspects that cause this, but we never get to hear or see updates of officers that are injured. This is truly inspiring. I would love to see if any news media outlet would play this video and give an update on this officers recovery.
