  • Just had the song on Breaking Bad

  • Agnosticism is a position of knowledge. Atheism is a position of belief. If you look inside and find belief there, you are a theist. If you find no belief, you are an atheist. Hence, atheism and agnosticism are not mutually exclusive terms. Get it right.

  • Where the fuck u been all this time? U need a breaking bad to discovered u this?!? Shit, this guy is classic, and if u listened a rap, u should know for him

  • @laukei1

Nope. He got it dead on. We can both agree that it's an issue of not knowing, but when you say you 'don't believe either', what are you disbelieving? Either the positive or negative claim. Therefore either making the person an agnostic theist or atheist.

interesting but not quite quite right.atheism is actual belief there's no god. if you find no belief on the subject, all you're left with is 'I don't know', which is agnosticism. if you define agnosticism as following 'not knowing whether there's a god', then everyone in her right mind should be agnostic, for no one can claim knowledge on the subject.

so atheism and agnosticism are somewhat exclusive : agnosticism is : don't know, don't believe either.

  • breaking bad.

  • @TagRation I suppose I was just not content with your use of "knowledge" and "belief". I debated it in my head, and came to the conclusion that you're right. I was considering agnosticism as a position of absolute belief in the impossibility of proving/disproving God [or G/god(s)]. I realize now that it is moreso a doubt in the credibility of evidence supporting or refuting God's (fuck it, I'm just going with the singular "God") existence -- not an absolute statement. Cheers.

  • @7TriangleofTrinity7 It depends on what belief you are talking about. You are right if the "belief" is a belief in (G/g)od(s). On the other hand atheists still believe in something - they believe totally in reality of a universe without (G/g)od(s). An agnostic believes in nothing because he/she sees a lack of evidence for both theism and atheism.

  • @HellboundAlleee "Atheism is a position of belief", and yet "If you find no belief, you are an atheist"?

  • Exactly how it really is. Work for the broken cause, you patriot.

  • i listened to this in baja 1000
