Oh yeah, so the USA is a very good nation than? What about the thousands of civilians who died cause' of the wars they started (Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghan) and the brutal regimes they backed up (Pol Pot, Pinochet, etc.)??? Not to mention they helped taliban extremists, which later turned against them, during the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan (which actually was the best period for afghan people...)

@holyknight234 The Soviets weren't fighting the Afghans, the Soviets were aiding military support to the Afghan government against the Mujahideen (known later as the Taliban). The Mujahideen were being aided by the US to try and remove the new Afghan party (a Socialist one).
