If you are thinking "Oh great, another kids movie about garbage trucks", then you are right, for about the first 30 SECONDS of it. The REST of the movie, however, displays a fine array of rare and beautiful classics from the '80s-'90s, many of which are nearly impossible to find nowadays.

When I first found this digitalized video online, I was amazed at how recently this video was made yet how many of these garbage trucks are so difficult to find today. The video truly shows a lot of amazing finds (by today's standards), and doesn't even have half the retarded parts that There Goes a Garbage Truck had. I highly recommend that you watch this three-part video, because it obviously captured me quite a bit once I discovered it.

  • It would be nice if ESD would do some 8:15 to their Octo tailgates

  • you`re right this is better than there goes a trash truck. the cab at 3:50 hotwheels used on their fls&it cuold be 1 of the first condors or petes. very nice, swift trucks, especially my favorite, the 7000 at 5:08 - 5:22 today, the guy at 4:50 would have gotten in trouble or fired for doing that. wasn`t this in `94-`97?

  • @TrashKid63 3:50 is an RTI cab, which stands for Refuse Truck Industries. They're still around today, but little-known. But this was many years prior to the first Condor chassis lol..

And yes it could've been released during the 90s, the trucks are about that vintage and older.

  • luv it!

  • @Monoxcyde Yeah that sounds pretty much like what I saw in this video. Thanks for the input, it's good to hear from someone who was serviced by them and has firsthand memories. Do you still have the footage and can you post it?

  • @Trashman242 manual collection for the greens, and had a special truck for recycle, and then the automated for solid waste.

  • @Trashman242 NEWCO (National Enviornental Waste Company) Used to service my area (S/E Riverside) Back in the 90s. They and Burrtec started sharing the route in 1997 and in 2001 Burrtec completely took over and bought nearly all their trucks. I was about 9 or 10 then but I have footage of their old trucks. Peterbilt Heil 7000s (all types/sizes). Their trucks wore the Red Whte and Blue paint scheme, and sometimes White and Green. They did manua collection with Petes and amrep bodies

  • @Trashman242 yup the truck at 8:11 is still roaming the streets. and LOL bout truck heaven
