  • One of my favorite Bach arias. I really like this performance. Very clear, beautifully articulated and well balanced between voice and instruments.

    For a different approach (as regards number of instruments, tempo, type of soprano voice, gravitas) that also uses a period instrument ensemble, listen to Gardener's version (on YouTube).
