I mean if your parents were working in, say, Australia, and you were born suddenly, does that mean that there is no way that YOU could run for president? Seems a little...you know..odd

I understand that birth certificate was released, but... "Barry Soto" was his born name, then changed to Barack Obama... Birth states Barack Obama.

But technically none of these men could claim to have been "born in the USA". Obama, on the other hand, claims direct descent from Deacon John Dunham of Plymouth Colony who arrived in Mass in 1630--- a friend of Brewster and Bradford. @CobinRain Washington & James Madison where born in parts of Virginia Colony. John Quincy Adams & John Adams where both born in Massachusetts Bay Colony. You may be confused, because at the time of some of these presidents, we where not yet a country, but colonies.

Well,actually Title 8 section 1401 (h) has the answer! Then again if there are any doubts find the answer through INS. The INS website has the rules for citizenship(natural-born/nativ­e-born) under INA:ACT 301 (h) !!! But yet if you still want to doubt then simply find out when his father entered Hawaii !!!!!
