Phair claims to have modelled the structure of Guyville on Exile on Main Street. Well, I've been playing them back to back and so far all I've spotted is the use of the word 'cunt' on track 4 of both albums (Phair's 'Dance of the Seven Veils' and the Stones' 'Casino Boogie'): "I only ask because I'm a real cunt in spring/You can rent me by the hour"; "Dietrich movies, close up boogies/Kissing cunt in Cannes". No doubt I'll pick up the nuances and subtleties later. ;)
