@MrWakethesheeple you're an idealist and that's great. i'm not. without checks and balances within government we'll be right where we are today and essentially we agree on what the gov't should be. all of us need to be committed to public service at some level. a republic is of necessity a participatory form of government and that's part of the problem today.

@MrWakethesheeple examine what you just said. you're stating what people SHOULD be. you go around talking like that and its obvious you want to control. are you even reading my responses? the key is radically reducing the size and scope of the gov't. that list of people you wrote will always be with us and will 'slip' into office occasionally. the key is to take away the temptations of power and money that exists when gov't has grown as large (and secretive) as in the US.

The thing about Beck is that he is often right on and well spoken. Its just that he's revealed himself to be completely insane so many times that he has no credibility even when he's 100% right about something.
