@Dwkim91 yup. Korea fought as one, the people fought together and united. they won over and over again, beating countries and armies much more powerful and bigger than them. sadly, they later lost against japan's 3rd or so try. but later Korea was freed. but of course, later the Korean war came and sadly separated brothers and sisters into 2 countries, which had fought together against all odds in the past :(

@lilaznthug510 same ^^

@Dwkim91 no, they didnt. they never wanted to conquer other lands or countries or empires. they just wanted to be left alone. but its big neighbors kept on trying to conquer Korea. yes, all the way in the past, Korea used to be different sides with forts and fighting against each other, but after they formed into 1 country, they fought to defend not to conquer. sadly they got beaten by the Japs. but later, they came back :D

@lovatolover8201992 The Mongols, Manchus, China over and over again, Japanese pirates, and various war clans in northeast China. Korea overall won most of these wars, allowing it to continue its history.
FYI, in the early 600s, the Sui Chinese invaded Korea. They, at one point, sent more than a million soldiers, but were decisively destroyed. Korea was one of the few countries the Mongols had to send elite troops in, and still only could make Korea an autonomous tributary after 35+ years.
