George Osborne to Brussels over Irish 'bailout' (17Nov10)

Conservative George Osborne wants the Irish government to take a loan they don't want so as to cripple the Irish economy, and (fail) to save the lame duck Euro Mickey Mouse currency.

Just like the USA, most of Europe was greedy on dirt cheap credit, now it must pay the price for it's greed, even if it means the Mickey Mouse Euro currency collapses.

Ireland threw any notions of sovereignty away when they signed up for the EU. They went in open-eyed knowing that the Euro was a political project and when (not if) it failed a massive power grab would be made from Brussels to ensure it cannot happen again. The Irish knew this and still voted for it. Therefore pay ZERO sympathy to the Irish. (except for the enlightened ones who voted against the EU of course...poor bastards)
