  • at least shes trying...

  • she's very annoying...but don't pay attention to her weird hand gestures and faces, French is beautiful!

do any of you native English speakers actually understand what she's saying?

I had to pay close attention to get every word right..

as for the driving, things are quite different in the UE. and be careful! driving in large city (and using the roundabouts) can be tricky and dangerous. use public transportation!

the ice cubes thing.. she's right, they fill your glass with drink, not with ice!

  • It is true for eating at the table. My host family thought I was texting or something when I'd put my hand in my lap. It's weird how a little thing like that can end up being a big culture shock lol

  • americans so vulgar

  • Thank you! very helpful!

  • If you don't like her accent, you are probably gay

  • To clarify that last tip about stopping by the light, I found that when the lights are at the front of the intersection only (whereas in the US they are at the back of the intersection), it makes it hard to see the lights if you stop too close to the intersection, due to the more extreme angle. (Many intersections appear to have the lights in the back added.)

  • I am french and I can perfectly understand her ^^ But I hate her accent, so "french", and we don't ... We try very hard to avoid this accent but it is very difficult for us, but English people say that our accent is cute !

  • @yaoiyaoiyaoi123 Because English sounds are too much different from French ones, and pretty hard to pronounce well without a lot of practice.

  • in fwance

  • In fact you can use last name with "Monsieur" and "Madame"

You can say: "Bonjour, voici Monsieur et Madame Jackson" (Hello, this is Mr. and Mrs Jackson)
