  • Every time you ask a question, I answer it, you ignore the response, and ask a new question with some ridicule thrown in for good measure. If you're really interested in the topic, go read some N.T. Wright, he does a much better job explaining the evidence for Christianity than I ever could. I know when someone is yanking my chain. Go troll someone else.

  • @Nyarl3 The belief system is run by priests and those who have no idea what the scope of God is, and then try to tell you all about it with the cornerstone being that you are a piece of crap, and that you have to pay them 10 per cent of your income. Wake up man. You probably think you've never been skammed, but you are sucker to the biggest skam of all time. Accept it so you can move on with your life and learn about the way the cosmos really functions. Religion has no clue.

  • @Nyarl3 First of all, why would God, after creating "children", then demand that they be perfect from the outset?

Ridiculous. There is no such evidence that even God is perfect aside from the dogma that you've been taught.

You will be quick to put the blame squarely on mankind. That is what other humans have told you. Come to grips with the fact that you operate in a belief system that is, by definition, based not on knowing, but on thinking you know, or faith. cont.

  • @Nyarl3 I asked you to provide evidence that the word of god, bible, is truly his word. Also, what evidence do you have that any of it is true? No cannot.

  • @rovingdesertfox You made no evidence question, you merely stated no evidence was possible.

  • @rovingdesertfox By the way, God wasn't just going around killing people willy-nilly, read Genesis 15:16. He waits until the wickedness of the Amorites was full, because to kill them otherwise would have been unjust. I suppose the question is, do you believe that God, if He exists, has the right to judge you?

  • @rovingdesertfox I've made none of your points, you're assuming things. It's always a mystery to me how people have no problem believing in an all-loving God, but just can't seem to believe in a God who is also Just. The Bible affirms both attributes of God. I didn't say killing the Amorites was inconsistent with divine love, I said it was not an example of it. God is Just, and His killing of the Amorites, in my view, reflects His justice.

  • @Nyarl3 PS: You evaded my evidence question.

  • @Nyarl3 You made my point. If killing the Amorites, (and millions of others) is not consistent with divine love, as you have just said, where does that leave the entity that did it? Forget the bullying. I don't know you. I'm challenging your belief system. There is spirituality beyond churchianity.

  • @rovingdesertfox Did you even bother to read what I wrote? Did I say that exterminating the Amorites was an example of divine love? No. And I too, have examined the evidence for Christianity, and I find myself convinced by it. I won't apologize for it, and I won't be bullied by the self-styled "champions of rationality." So go, find someone else to bark at, because it's clear all you want to do is preach.
