[HD] Ubuntu 8.10 - Some Window Management

For those looking for an Ubuntu HD How-To, I used gtk-recordmydesktop to record this video. Then, for uploading, I converted it to x264 using FFMPEG, which is a commmand-line media conversion god.

This video is demonstrating some more compiz for the masses. This time I'm using the Shiki-colors theme (google it). The flickering is a glitch in the video recorder (specific to my video card), and only exists in the video (I saw no flickering on the desktop).

  • weird, I should of went with nvidia because compiz and youtube or any video not so well man. if you like linux to work more flawelessly stay away from ati.
