Last year my microX broke too. Prog wouldn't change when I turned the dial. Sent it off to the shop and they sent it ti Korg for repair. Still had warranty so no cost. Took about 3 weeks ro get back.. No problem since. Good Luck HoweGavin!

well i don't c why not. i would get korg to fix it cause a lot of the times if it can't be fix they will send u another.

Reminds me of 'Unfinished Sympathy' from Massive Attack. Were the drums played by the KP3?
