Dragon Age 2 - Secret Messages Act 1 (Archeologist Achievements)

http://www.xboxedge.com bringing you the locations of the secret messages from the Band of Three in Dragon Age 2 for Act 1. These messages count towards the Achievement Archeologist in which you have to find at least three messages during each year in Kirkwall.

@rcsp09 Sometimes there are, sometimes there aren't. Not sure why some only appear to certain people. In the first act the fourth message is kind of glitched.

The fourth message is is the viscount's keep. At the top floor, where the seneschal is standing there is a room, and the message is behind 2 paintings. Thumbs up so everyone can see.

Will I still be in act1 after the expedition? because I did all the quest before that and still haven't been to the bone pit :o

@InfectedMite or walk up to the painting its hidden behind and click A once,but your method probably works too.

@TheXboxEdge in act 1 the 4th is behind a painting in the viscounts keep if im not mistaken,but glitched?what do you mean i have always gotten 3 in act 1and im in my 7th playthrough. but thats because i never found the one in the gallows.so how is it glitched does the 4th go away some times after you have 3 of them,or what?because now you've got me curios.

@Pushtrak Correct, in each act four messages exist. Unfortunately in Act 1 one message is bugged but it does not stop the achievement from being granted as long as you get the other 3. The bugged message is in Viscount's Keep in the Seneschal's office. It's near filing cabinets from what I understand. It's currently not able to obtained on PC which sucks for me but I've read 360/PS3 users can obtain it by repeatedly mashing buttons. DA2 Wikia can explain more. GL to all seeking all the messages
