CoD 5: My top 10 weapons

This is a scale of PERSONAL PREFERENCE, not overall. We all know MP40 always wins at CQC. That's why I avoid close quarters when possible. I put MG42 first for 2 reasons

1.) Got my K/D ratio up to 2.22
2.) I guess I'm naturally talented with it, explaining #1. I've never had this much success with a weapon in CoD, or any FPS game for that matter!

I mostly use weapons not always because of their stats in the game but because of their influence in real life but if something is so overpowered that it almost counts as cheating (MP40 in this case) I will hardly/never use it on multiplayer.

The Mini-Pingas 40 will always go down as a noob cannon in my eyes. It's about as unskilled as it gets. 2 shot kill almost always, with or without stopping power (base damage of 50.) This allows you to buff up your already cheap class even more with Juggernoob. Heck, bolt on last stand too so skilled players can hate you!

Yeah, either that or the Ripping Cloth lmao.... that gun was pretty hard to beat until we learned how to beat it. You would wait until they had to reload, or just flank it. You just had to be careful not be trapped in a narrow passage, otherwise you'd be screwed.

btw, you play CoD 5 or BF2 Modern Combat for the 360?

This is personal preference, not overall godliness in a game. We all know MP40 and PPSH always win at close range. ST-42 doesn't exist... you probably mean hte STG-42. It's alright, a jack of all trades weapon. You can make it do whatever you want. Want better aiming? Slam on an aperture. Want to be stealthy, use Camoflage and suppressor. It's an interesting weapon, but I just like the MG42, Browning, and FG42 for their impressive firepower, especially the MG42 for me. It's not for everyone.

I just never liked SMGs all that much in CoD5, especially because the maps are bigger, and it's just more favoring to other weapons. CQC is a big ass gamble, and I don't win consistently at it, so I said "Fuck it, I'll kill medium to long range. That way I don't lose to the close quarters players. Outrange to outgun."

Still, in single player the PPSH is buttsex if you're good with it. I was doing some levels on Veteran with jordan so I used Kar98K while he rushed in with a PPSH Justice served.

My PSN gamertag is bebalo68 and my alternate account's gamertag is another_hobo. Also, you know how in all the other CoD's the MP40 was underpowered, it's like that weapon can never be balanced. In WaW it makes the Thompson look like a piece of S**t.
