It is hard to say that this is not Tai Chi. It is based on peng, certainly. Saying a master's style is not this or that is hard. It is like taking a drop in the ocean and saying it isn't the ocean. Of course it's not. Is it part of the tradition, absolutely. Great vid.

tai chi concerns with combination of contiuous circular movements and rotations of limbs. Force or impulse generated from axis. The closer,the greater the force. It's not only wrestling, it has punches and kicks of same principle.

LOOK closely teacher doesn't side step the oncoming force and uses a wing chun punching style . yes you guessed right - this is not Tai Chi

There is a lot of applications within Lan Que Wei ( Grasp the Birds tall) The use of Peng is correct. Coming from a Yang Chen Fu heritage ala Chen Wei Ming linage, we customarily use a Shan Zhang or Lighting palm where this practitioner is using his fist.
