I'm not trying to screw with you. I'm just saying that exemplary grammar is largely irrelevant on a worldwide forum. I learned to read and write in English by reading Harry Potter and comparing the French and English texts, and also by watching French films with English subtitles.

My grammar is probably atrocious, but I like think that I can communicate my thoughts in English as clearly as the next person. That's what matters to me.

I think you are the one missing Carlin's sarcasm and you are doing what a typical tree hugger, Al Gore protoge would do, spin. The world is ever changing and has been since its birth. To blame man on it's constant change is without scientific prrof and that was proven with the email gate a couple of years ago. Gore is a fraud and so is most of the environmentalist communtiy.
