Mount & Blade is developed by Taleworld, Paradox only the publisher.

Game that Paradox develop themselves at their Swedish HQ are Grand Strategy game like Heart of Iron, Europa Universalis, Victoria, Crusader King. And from the studio they bought in France, AGEOD, which was founded by the creator of the Europa Universalis board game, which also make Grand Strategy Game, like Pride of Nations, War in America, Napoleon Campaign.

    good game..but...grr, another fantasy

The only non fantasy depiction of Arthur I ever saw was in Rome Total War - Barbarian Invasion.

....Hmmm..., U don`t like fantasy maybe? Or just better prefer historical, unmitigated reality as imaginary reality, fantasy? I think just that`s happened first of all.

Then Grand Strategy most likely just not your type of game. =)

Which is quite understandable, for it a type of game that require a lot of involvement, someone who pay attention to every minute detail in Heart of Iron could easily spend a year on a single playthrough.
