i dont know with u still have this car but tell me one thing i have a 2001 land rover freeland td4 3 doors with a repro so he have 150hp!is it normal do this car to break the transmissions easy?

Freelander's are really good 4x4.. Not as 'hardcore' as the Defender, but certainly it's fun to ride and drive. However, I believe the Diesel Freelanders seem to be more reliable than the V6 and the 1.8. We've had a V6 Freelander and that unfortunately, had so much problems - would've been a great car if there wasn't so much faults in it and consumed so much fuel. Now we have the XEDi Freelander (Early Diesel Model from 1998-2000) and lovin' it as well and so far.. NO PROBLEMS =) Go Land Rover!

@barryunwin1 4" lift in a freelander? the great driver first know the limits of his car. if with 2" you put the cv join in risk, imagine with 4"? unless you do a high modification underneath like using disco or RR axles you cant do that. Defender's no doubt are the best, but freelanders do have their value. they are great cars.
