Being that the Wii heavily earned more profit and sales than the 360 or PS3, I'd say Nintendo knew exactly what people wanted. With motion controls being added to the 360 and PS3 late in their cycles, I'd also say the other companies are catching up with what people want, and what Nintendo has already done.

Actually, no. Look at the GameCube and how much it failed. It only sold a few million more than the Dreamcast did.

People bought the Wii because of what it could do and the fact that it had Mario and had the name Nintendo on it. I am sure the majority of people who bought the Wii could care less if it had motion controls.

I remember watching this 6 years ago... before the Wii had came out and even though it was fake it made me so excited a new console (Wii).

Those memories come flooding back when I watch this now. Amazing
