the worst part about this is that dreamgirls is not a bio musical. its a musical from the early 80's that basically dramatically spoofed the musical workings of the Supremes, james brown, and a lot of other motown artists (mostly the supremes) during the 60's and 70's. In no way was the script recycled from other movies of similar genre. Although some of the script was changed to make the characters closer to their Motown counterparts, for the most part it stayed in tact.
