Here I demonstrate a rather rare Oster 10 cup percolator. The body of the percolator is made of a transparent plastic, while the base, handle, and lid are of avocado green plastic. I believe this percolator to have been made between about 1968 and 1973 or so, and the musical accompaniment for this video is played on my PL-7L turntable - Lee Erwin Wurlitzer pipe organ with the Victor Herbert medley from Oldies for Pipe organ, and finishing up with PERCOLATOR by Billy Joe & the Checkmates. Sound on this video is the actual sound of the percolator itself, and the stereo playing in the room next to the kitchen. So now - enjoy the 'forbidden' view of an Oster automatic 10 cup percolator.
OMG! I just bought this exact percolator for $5 at a thrift store a few days ago. It was barely used & still works. Don't know anything about it except that it looks so cool!
