The basic progression is : Am, G, F, and E... then it moves to F, G, Em, C, F, G, E

@quickdrw1 hey - thanks for posting - can you define the interim chords in this??? I catch Asus after the first Am - but I lose it after that . . . trying to get my fat sausage fingers to learn guitar . . .many thanks

@docacu I don't know music theory like I should. I hammer with a finger on each of the chords in the progression: Am, G, F, E Am, G, E, E... then F, G, C, Em, Am... F, G, E F, G, C, Em, Am,.. F, G, Am
I'm actually playing it wrong in the video, which I made several years ago, not to mention wrong words in the first verse. You should watch Dave Stamey play it... he wrote it!

seen dave twice this year at private home concerts, front row seat, look up his schedule and see private home shows, it doesn't mean private just private homes doing the show. he is the best an pretty yourself, thanks. can you do wheels or campfire waltz my favorites.. good luck... dave

Campfire waltz is on my list to learn... along with "The Bandit Juoquin". I do six of Dave's songs now... I looked up Dave's schedule and expect I'll see him in Arizona this January. Lookin forward to it.
