Baby Janaki shows all the old fogies how to dance. Well, we still see her as our baby, but our little daughter is getting on now - 2 years old. She likes kirtan very much: chanting and dancing Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare / Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare

This particular sample of kirtan is fast-paced and energetic. Kirtan was introduced by Chaitanya Mahaprabhu in 16th Century Bengal, India. The kirtan process of chanting mantra along with musical instruments and dance was particularly meant for the chanting of this Krishna mantra.

  • The temple is in Ireland, about 2 hours drive from Dublin

  • Oh that's quite a lovely and ornate altar(i'm not sure if this is the right word) in the video.

  • thank you, yes we use the word 'altar'. This is the altar of Shri Shri Radha Govinda. It is gold-plated, and the 'Deities' get fresh flower garlands every day. They have been doing so everyday since July 20th 1986.
