Fine speeches and commitments from world leaders to work together are not enough. We need a clear action plan, a new Apollo mission to rid the world of carbon emissions. We need to take One Giant Leap into a cleaner future.

On Saturday 26th September in 100 cities across 35 countries members of the parkour community will be gathering to raise awareness of the need for a tough new international agreement to tackle climate change. This will be the world's biggest parkour jam ever. Starting in New Zealand and ending in Hawaii visiting such diverse locations as Inner Mongolia and Las Vegas in between. The London event will take place from 11am at the IMAX centre in Waterloo.

The aim is to promote climate change campaign group Sandbag's key message that huge strides in cutting global emissions can be made if key countries focus on their power sector. Only 3,300 power stations account for over a quarter of the world's carbon dioxide emissions. The solutions exist and money is already flowing. It just needs to be scaled up quickly with all key countries taking a role.

  • First of all, I didn't find humor in any of the parts that were so obviously filmed to be comical.

and second, how about a little respect for the discipline that you are asking to help raise awareness for your campaign? I think this was kinda disrespectful.

Or I just missed the sarcasm.

  • Sorry you feel that way - we have huge respect for the the traceurs and traceuses who are helping with tomorrow's event. Our intention in the film was to show parkour expert as a disciplined, highly skilled athlete - the joke is on Marek the comedian for being a bit of a loser in comparison. Sorry if this didn't come across for you.

  • not at all, I can see that, it merely registered wrong. perhaps not executed in the most appropriate manner, but I see where you are coming from, and I am truly excited for tomorrow.

  • cool - hate to think we upset anyone. we shot and edited the whole thing in 8 hours which may be the cause of the problem. hope you have fun if you're going to a jam tomorrow.

  • there's no sound in the first part of the video.

  • That's wierd same thing happened to me but seems to be ok again now?
