  • Manual Trans? I wasn't aware they made such a thing with a v8.

  • @w2018v The manual gearbox was available on the 3.5l-V8 only. I don't know if they offered this combination in the US at all though...

  • @tovarasultau The 4.5l is the better engine, but it was not available with a manual gear box, so I chose a 3.5l manual. Will be enough for the W123 anyway...

  • @SBT300 : I drove a w116 with the v8 3.5 litter .Great car and the engine sounds better than any modern V8.

  • @tovarasultau The Car was scrapped, but we took the engine, drive train and brakes out to put them into a W123 station wagon.

  • What happend with the car?

    The sound of the engine is great!

  • Der Antriebstrang vom 116er kommt in nen 123er T-Modell, die Karosserie vom 116er ist nicht mehr zu retten. Aber auch der 123er wird dann recht lässig!
