Makes me wonder what an English or UK culinary challenge like this would be - and what Jonny Ive's pastry chef equivalent is? What would Heston and others (Delia etc?) do under the pressure for what may be the Le Mans of the culinary world

I don't understand why some people wear gloves and others don't. Shouldn't everyone wear gloves when preparing other peoples food? I'm guessing it doesn't matter because it's for competition purposes?
