@Malfehzan It's a pretty sure bet based on the types of civilizations China and Arabic nations are now. The Chinese and most of the Arab world are autocratic to this day. Free societies grew out or peoples with a Christian tradition, not eastern religions or Islam. Slavery was legal in certain parts of the middle-east until the 1960s and Chinese warlords and communists are some of the most ruthless people known to man. It would have most likely been far worse than the conquista.

@amerlibmov I wouldn't be so sure about that. In 500 years since 1492, occident (ie, the Euros) has changed a lot. And a good deal of that has come from challenges and opportunities these people have met. Who's to say Chinese or Arabic peoples wouldn't have risen to those challenges and opportunities as good - or who knows, better -- than "we" did?

@teenwolf1991 What would have happened to indigenous peoples if say, the Chinese or Arabic explorers had arrived before Europeans? My belief is they would have perished from Asian or middle-eastern diseases like they did from European diseases, but in these cultures, there was no progress towards free societies. It's impossible to predict the future but there would likely have been more genocide and dislocation from these cultures than from European cultures.

@amerlibmov Everything you just stated is true, and I agree with you. However, in my last statement, I was only referring to the Northern natives. Also, if the white settlers hadn't arrived, there is no way to really know what their civilization would be like today. That would be like me trying to predict the future. It's impossible. I don't feel resentment towards whites. I only have a problem with people who are prejudice against others. Just like people were back then, and still are today.

@teenwolf1991 You live in a delusional world of pre Colombian America. There was just as much persecution before the Conquista as after. The Aztecs and Incas were imperialists and exploiters of the continents. You're letting your own resentments against whites trick you into an image of a world that didn't exist 500 years ago. There was terrible poverty, slavery, human sacrifical religions, class systems etc. Christianity was a step forward and you're free now. That makes it worth it.

@amerlibmov Yeah, I've also heard about that. The asians migrated here a long time ago. But the fact remains that the natives were the original inhabitants. And how would the natives be trying to look for a white country, if all they knew about was themselves, and their land? Back then, there was no poverty. They had animals, grew their own crops, and lived off the land. What freedom were they lacking? They were FREE, until the white settlers arrived and stole their land from them.

@teenwolf1991 Geneticists have determined that native Americans have genes similar to people in Southeast Asia. They migrated to the Amiericas thousands of years ago themselves. So, everyone is an immigrant to this part of the world. I guess the animals could ask you to leave. But realistically, if the Europeans had never settled on these continents, many indigenous people would just be looking for a white country to move to escape the poverty, dispair and lack of freedom that was here.
