Gil does not approve of Emiya. They specialize in creation of (fake) swords. Gil owns all the treasures of the world. Someone who can replicate all his treasures is an abomination against his ideal of what it means to possess something. He is philosophically opposed to Heroic spirit Emiya. Emiya wants nothing, Gil wants everything. By trying to live for everyone else, Emiya created a reality marble (fake world) that could counter Gil owning everything in the world. The polar opposite of Gil.

@MEGAS8591 Fate Extra isn't canon. Type-Moon said so. There is no 6th Grail War because 1) The Grail Chamber collapsed thanks to Kiritsugu's C-4 Explosives that would cause an earthquake 10 years later, and 2) The Mage's Association would deactivate the grail after the fifth.
