Let us reconstruct the way it was before,
Let us reconstruct how we were living, the way it was before.
We take back home our elders to teach our culture you people
We take back home the disabled to access the comfort of life.

Peace has returned people are returning homes.
The roads have been constructed people can return to live in peace
Those unable to return let's hold their hands to return home
Others who can no longer walk lets carry them home please
Those who can't built lets help them construct for them
Those who can no longer cultivate,
The welfare of the most vulnerable is our responsibility
Others who can not afford clothing lets buy for them.
Buy for them clothes to ware to be presentable
The elders' welfare lies in our hands lets unite for peace and love
A strong homestead is, because of our elders
The cultural teachers are our parents
Let's take care of our parents.

My people, the war has pulled our ears.
It's high time we stood on our feet.
Let's work hard with talents without being shy
Relying on handouts from donors is not helpful now
Let our elders live how they used to live before
I feel this is better than donations
Let's now turn to assisting the war victims
And everyone has a role in our community.
Our elders teach us our culture
Let's look after our weak elders who raised us
Because life is precious to everybody.

Let's let go of the hopelessness that destroys our homes,
Let's not quarrels amongst ourselves.
Let's forget revenge as it will wreck us apart for nothing
The quality of our education is very low, let us study hard my people.
HIV is seriously killing us; we need to educate our youth.
My people; sit down and listen to advice.
Those disabled by the war, support them!
Save some money to buy tricycles for the disabled to support life.
My people, we have freedom of movement today,
Let's buy mattresses for those who cannot afford.
