there is a hadith, "al ghinau yunbitu annn nifaqah kama yum mibul al uz zaraah."

"music(musical instruments) grows hypocrisy in the heart justt as water grows the crops."

take what u will from this but as it cannot be more clear -MUSIC AND MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS ARE HARAAM.- btw they wernt drums used they were duff. a one sided drum that is only by fatwa allowe dat wedddingsa nd the prophet had of course some things specified to him. such as the drums in the battle.

@princessmunah33 First of all, I didn't know this was a music video, I thought it was nasheed. Secondly, you're saying that if a video has music in it but they just mention Allah once then it is okay? Where did you get this information from? Can you show me? So if Souljaboy or Lil wayne just say "Allah" in their music so it's okay to listen to? That doesn't make any sense. And I never said that I don't watch videos on YouTube.

The style, the lyrics and the composition of this piece seems to be a poor attempt in capturing the aura and spirit of Islam to say the least. Artists like Yusuf Islam, Native Deen, Raihan, even without any technical instruments deliver a spiritual msg that is humble yet carries alot of soul. Unfortunately, Seven8six lacks modesty, originality and seems to resemble a corny boy-band from the 90's. Allah knows best! PEACE
