  • So, just to make everything clear, these have no purpose at all? And the ones on banjo tooie have no purpose? Could the ice key on BK have been for the big safe with the mega glowbo inside of it on BT?

  • @az1993productions On the original Banjo Kazooie for the N64 the Stop N' Swop eggs are completely useless but can found using cheat codes. The Stop N' Swop eggs in Banjo Tooie however for the N64 are MEANT to be found and are USEFUL by bringing them to Heggy's Egg Shed by Wooded Hollow for her to hatch and receive what's inside the eggs which include: the Breegull Bash attack, a Homing Eggs cheat code, and obtain Jinjo as playable character in the multiplayer game.

  • @az1993productions And as for the Ice Key. In Banjo-Tooie, it is possible to obtain the Ice Key without the use of cheats. In the Jinjo Village, just to the right of the entrance, there is a small icy cavern which can be accessed using the Grip Grab ability. There is a Banjo-Kazooie Game Pak inside which will yield the precious Ice Key when it is destroyed. The Ice Key from Banjo-Kazooie turned out to be completely useless once more and no one knows of it's original purpose to this day.

  • does it still work if u do it with a n64 year before 1998?

  • @SuperChortles I don't think it works that way since all the Banjo-Kazooie cartridges were geared towards the newer N64 system resulting in the Stop 'N' Swop to never fully perform up to it's original expectations.

  • @YankeeGamer5 I don't get it. If Stop N Swop, won't work in the newer N64 console's. And would only work, for the older N64 console's. Why can't they do Stop N Swop, in the older N64 console's. I mean. What the buck? Can you explain. Please.

  • @TheNatkidd My guess is that RARE had to make Banjo Kazooie compatible with the newer N64 model since they were discontinuing the older N64 by the time the game was getting released. Meaning, why would RARE waste the time to make a Banjo-Kazooie game for a system that very few people owned and really would of just made things a big mess...just like this fantastic idea.

  • I cant hear what you say because of that fucking music!!!

  • @YankeeGamer5 thank you very much. It sucks they never used it for the first one. Still leaves so much mystery as to what their full intentions were. Lol. But this video was very helpful with many questions I had. Great work.

  • Banjo Tooie was originally supposed to be called Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts but was later changed to Banjo Tooie and they used the name Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts on the new game because it worked with Stop & Swap and that's what the end of the first game said (N64&XBLA).

  • nvm, this is Xbox version

  • Also Kazooie never mentioned the key was a stop & Swop item on my game...

  • Odd, I did the codes last year as a recording of Banjo Kazooie, but after entering each code, Bottles wouldn't talk to me, it would just show a 4 second preview letting me know the code worked.

I'm pretty sure I got my N64 the year it released, do you know if such early systems would be able to make the items work on banjo tooie?

also great video, I'm kinda wondering why it doesn't have more views.

  • And demon bottles, which you can only get through gameshark, the only stop 'n' swop item you have to use gameshark to get in Banjo Tooie. It's really complicated, and would take me about 5 comments, so I'll just leave it at this.
