@MysticArksRevenge Indeed. A lot of 'mainstream' games seem to have unwelcome overemphasis on 'realism', if you know what I mean. It's like characters aren't allowed to be anything but 'normal' these days and it just about bores me to tears. Thankfully, there are still quite a few games that subvert that, and they even make it over here.

@MyotisSeraphim But that is true. Japan thinks of us as a bunch of stupid and unskilled gamers.
-
@MyotisSeraphim I am sorry, but these days they have gone mainstream, and I just hate them nowadays.
-
@MysticArksRevenge I rather like them these days because they don't hold back releases on account of westerners being apparently too stupid and unskilled to enjoy the games.

Oh man SaGa 3 remake! Can't wait to play th... Japan only release? FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
Oh wait, it's getting fan translated. Never mind.

So I just now found out these ports of the SaGa series existed. I'm super nostalgia-ing. Time to boot up the Super Gameboy.

@xGolbezx I agree. Square Enix from 1997-now are the worst. I much rather prefer the old days and their games from 1987-1996.

Strangly enough I love this game, with all of it's terrible text etcetera, But the funniest part is, when I was living in my car, I had pretty much all my other hand helds stolen leaving me with a GBC, and this game.... And boy was it fun.... I mean I couldnt play in the dark, but Damn... Good times...
This game...will forever be part of my childhood

@ZaffireWolf I agree! That is why Ryuji Sasai will always be the best composer that Square Enix has ever had in my eyes! And judging by the remake to SaGa 3, he's still got it! I do consider it a shame that he left Square Enix, but I also feel that it was a good idea that he left the company in 1998, since Square Enix was starting to go more mainstream, due to the success of Final Fantasy VII.
