But apparently you would not like to handle this on a level of intelligence (although I do question that when you can't even spell the simple word "ever") and have decided not to keep an open mind or even disagree with maturity. @Ardwynna I wasn't blaming women for their prejudices and defense mechanisms. In a specific case, I asked that the woman in question try to see me as a person, not as my sex. I'd be willing to bet that Ms. Gibson would agree with that sentiment.
I met a woman who COULD do that, & I'm quite happy with her now.
Dividing people by gender/sex into Us & Them is detrimental to everyone, & only plays into the ideology of those who think that heteronormative genders are the only genders.

@Ardwynna You, ma'm, are misconstruing what I said. You know nothing about the circumstances of what I was talking about, and yet you automatically assume I am in the wrong. The particular woman I was talking about was very close to me, and tried to blame ME for her inability to open up. As I said before, I did not blame her, all I asked was that she give me the chance she gave her female partners.
Sorry, but your attempts to put all the blame on me are unfounded.

Wow; I was just looking through Laci Green's website and found this video and thought it was absolutely amazing, it gave me goosebumps all the way through. And I can't say that I've gone through what she's talking about as I'm a guy myself; but watching it happen to your mum makes you have a big effect from this video. Brilliant.
