Powell says illegal immigrants do his home repairs
WASHINGTON -- Former Secretary of State Colin Powell says illegal immigrants do essential work in the U.S. and that he has firsthand knowledge of that — because they fix his house.
A moderate Republican, Powell urged his party on Sunday to support immigration generally because those who come from abroad are, in his words, "what's keeping this country's lifeblood moving forward."

I know people who came to the USA legally, and they did not like living in the USA, so they came back to their country, but after working for a really long time in the USA, and they can come back anytime to the USA, but they don't want to. I also know many Americans who are leaving to Mexico to live in Mexico because they don't like the USA. People who live in Mexico live to 130 years old, and most of them are still living. The weather in Mexico is perfect.

Illegals come to work to make money, and after a few years they go back to their country again. Illegals are not looking to live in the USA for ever, they are looking to just make enough money to go back to their countries. Not even one Million Americans are staying to live in the USA, but in Mexico. More than one million Americans are going to live to Mexico everyday, look at any other country in the world, you won't see as many Americans living in another country, like in Mexico.

@rts4761 BUt what you're talking about is not all black people. I don't feel you owe me anything but respect. I haven't really experienced an anti-white sentiment, but some black people are bitter. I'm also tired of the sense of entitlement where ever it comes from. I've worked hard to get where I am, but to know that some people will hate me and automatically assume I'm lazy just because of the color of my skin is a little depressing.

@rts4761 What has a black person ever done to you? What have they kept you from achieving? If you don't like living among black people (btw we only make up 12% of the population) then leave and go to a more white country. You DON'T have to live here. This is my country and you better believe I will stay here and try to make this country a better country

@rts4761 I don't believe that either one of them is a product of affirmative action. Does it count that he's half white or does that not matte? The scenario I presented was to show a case of nepotism (though a small stretch). Look at the other posts that have been directed towards me and tell me if I have a reason to be suspicious.

@rts4761 Do you not understand that President Obama was voted into office (this had nothing to do with affirmative action; this was a democratic process)? Neither one of your examples have to do with affirmative action. What if two applicants had the same qualifications and same experience but one was white and his father is friends with the boss and the other one is black: which one would be chosen?

@rts4761 LOL Sure..

@rts4761 Should we worry about nepotism? Why do you assume that black people are never as competent as white people. I can tell you right now that not all white doctors are competent. I've had experiences with a horrible WHITE pediatrician. Just because a black person is accepted to a medical program through affirmative action doesn't mean he/she doesn't have to do the same work as his/her counterparts

Remember, this useless sack of dung endorsed Obama for Commander and Chief…
