@yudanielk just get a set of cheapo wheels and tires and swap them to drive to the event. And brakes aren't too bad if you do it yourself.
-
I want to do this but with the high cost of tires and brakes... I'll have to wait until I graduate and get a job before I pick up this hobby (not to mention the helmets are freaking expensive)...
-
Lol at the mini who wish he had racing tires XD

@racer46 You very well might catch a ride but it will be at the end of the day on one of the fun runs, you get a DNF if you carry a passenger during a race.
-
Damn that looks confusing with all of the cones

Great video - looks like a ton of fun! I'm just building my first auto-x car, can't wait to get 'er on the track!

@imagineas1
Not sure where you are , but; Google autocross + nearest major city.
Also look for "solo" (autocross is also called solo) and check the SCCA website for the nearest region.

You need to try it. At least find an event in your area, and go watch. Usually, you can catch a ride or two with someone, just ask. Watching on video or even live doesn't match up at all to being in the car. Go try it, you will be hooked, but it CAN be an inexpensive hobby, OR.....

@racer46 At local events, most clubs welcome newbies, and encourage ride-alongs to help them out.
