This is a fine example of Elizabethan secular music by Weelkes, who along with others - Morely, Wilbye, Bennet, Tomkins et al. wrote for the court of Elizabeth 1. The text of the madrigal is sung by soloists and then repeated by a choral flourish finally ending as many Madrigals did of the era with a series of fa la la la's!
