The easiest shoelace knot that never loosens

This an easy to make shoe tie that does not loosen and unties quickly.
It's not the "classical " double knot, which you cannot untie easily.
It's great for trekking and sports.
For the right-handed version (this one) leave the left shoelace end longer for the extra wrap.
It is the classical shoe tie with one extra wrap around the first loop.
It will require an extra practice to get the end through the double loop but it's worth trying.
To make it tight pull the ends a bit and pull the loops again.
When you have practice try a third wrap.
With round laces it looks nicer.

Hi,

the video shows a knot with two loops of the string around one of the laces. The other way is with a single loop which, unfortunately, comes loose too often.

My round winter boot laces don't come loose anymore.

This truly works. I had some boots that I would double knot. The laces were round in shape and would come undone every time I'd go to take a walk, no matter how tightly I pulled on the knot. And after tying them this way, I have had no problem with shoe laces coming undone.

This is like the gospel. I just want to share this method with everyone I meet now. People must think I'm crazy! Haha!
