Here's a couple minutes of video showing a montage of screen configurations available on the LX-7. We didn't go through them all but this should give an idea of what's available and how the unit works under fishing conditions.

  • I got my LX7 yesterday...Fiddled with a it at home and like it...Cant wait to get it out on the ice with it and put it to the real test.

  • @crappiekilla2796

So far people seem to be very, very happy with them. Keep us in the loop as you get ice time with it.

  • Good to hear that! It definitely looks like an impressive unit. I sure hope they provide the dynamic depth software upgrade soon. That was one of the main reasons I was interested.

  • @THEbeardedJAP

Will do. As soon as I hear a solid release date for Dynamic Depth I'll post that info here.

  • @THEbeardedJAP

Word is we won't be waiting long for the dynamic depth upgrade. As soon as it is available I'll post an announcement here.

  • Oops. Meant dont like how the jig is showing up "AS" a thicker fat mark.

  • @THEbeardedJAP

Target Adjust allows a users to tailor the size/thickness of the targets being displayed. For these videos the setting was at "3." The scale is 1-4 with 1 being the smallest/thinnest and 4 being the largest/thickest.

  • Guess Ill hold on to the lx-5 for now...been looking hard at the 7 but will wait to see some more vi's and put my hands on one. Keep us informed on yours...thx for the vid.

Actually the display is very steady and stable. The issue is with where this was recorded. We fished a bay off of Superior with a ice breaker clearing channels about 1000' away. Basically we had a "walleye chop" under the ice. We filmed as much as we could when it was calm. At one point we went from 7.8 feet to 8.7 feet in the same hole in a matter of a couple seconds.
