Canon XA10 HD digital short - My Life and Bricks

Shot with the new Canon XA10 AVCHD Camcorder with the built in B&W filter effect. Most shots are handheld with the Power IS mode on to help keep the shots smooth.

This is a short introduction to a talented kid who "kind of loves legos" and likes to build star wars lego sets and make stopmotion videos on youtube with them. The stop motion short seen in the video was made from pictures taken with a Nintendo 3DS. See the video at http://youtu.be/wuJn1dEsHis

Was the sound recorde on the camera through external mic or built in mics? Also did you use any lighting set up or just available light?

@TomHarper68 The sound was recorded with a Sennheiser ME64 shotgun mic attached to the XA10. The camera was about 4ft from him.

when you rendered the video can you give me an idea of some of the settings you used? I always seem to have lots of grain when I render and I have an xa10.

Great short movie. I my self was (and still) a huge Lego fan! And I think that Lego is the best toy ever made! Period!

I have a question about the Audio, did you use the built-in mic? Because the Audio was great in my opinion.

And I'm thinking about buying one, do you recommend me to do so or what?

Oh yeah, another question. How is it at low light situations?
