And the video was made to show 4 problems with this model of immersion suit (the cheapest one, and 1 size fits all theory).

1. Not good for short people. Leaves gap around head.

2. Not good for people with long hair, it prevents the hood being pulled forward.

3. The gloves were of a neoprene like material that would allow water to come into the immersion suit.

3(cont) and again due to the 1 size fits all means problems doing up the immersion suit also occours.

4. Lack of training, I had been on board for 2 months the other two a further 2-3 months and this was the first time they had been out of their bags.

This video was made after it was deemed mandatory that every crew member should have an immersion suit +25% ship capacity. There was an engineer on board who was both too tall and too wide to fit into this immersion suit.
